In always keeping up to date with the latest state-of-the-art treatments, Dr. Charles-Harris recently attended the 28th Miami Breast Cancer Conference.  This conference brought together surgeons, oncologists, radiation oncologists, and other medical providers with the aim of fostering awareness of the state-of-the-art treatments in each therapeutic area and encouraging cross-team cooperation in the clinic setting. 

The highlights of this conference support the state-of-the-art approach that Dr. Charles-Harris takes with each breast cancer patient.  From a minimally-invasive biopsy, to determining the right surgical treatment plan, Dr. Charles-Harris’ caring approach provides personalized options for each patient based on the most modern options available.  

VIVA 2010

Dr. Charles-Harris recently attended VIVA (Vascular InterVentional Advances), a week long international conference about the latest advances in endovascular treatment of vascular disease (working inside the blood vessels). It was a state of the art conference with live cases from New York, Texas, California, Hawaii and as far as Germany, via satellite link.  The latest research and techniques were reviewed. Dr. Charles-Harris has devoted much of his practice to these procedures for the minimally-invasive treatment of Peripheral Arterial Disease.
