Elke Ojeda, PA-C is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant, specializing in Surgery. Elke received her undergraduate Bachelor’s degree at Nova Southeastern University and then continued on to receive a Bachelor’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies and a Master’s Degree in Medical Science. She has been working in the practice for over 7 years, and is responsible for assisting in surgery and coordinating patient care including consulting on patients in both the hospital and office settings. She is skilled at performing minor procedures (close to 1000 central venous lines) and is directly involved in patients’ diagnosis and treatment plans. She is highly respected for her professionalism and expertise in general and vascular surgery, by her fellow PA's and doctors, at the facilities where she practices. Many times she is called directly for her opinion to consult on surgical patients. Elke also serves as a Preceptor to Broward and Dade county Physician Assistant Program Students during clinical rotations in the Practice.
